How Long Term Support Planning Strategic Thinking We ? - Strategic thinking involves the application of individual decisions based on experience to determine future direction. Organizational strategic thinking is the coordination of creative thinking that enables a shared perspective organization into the future by meeting everyone's interests.  The first article in this series focuses on the articulation of values, mission, vision, and rtategi you. 

The mission statement is the single most important document in a statement to support this process. If adequately developed, the mission statement will be the basis for all the major decisions that you will always be made by your management team. According to my definition, mission statement includes the following main elements are :  

1. The concept of your organization. 
2. The nature of your business. 
3. The reason the existence of your business. 
4. Principles and values that underline your intent to operate the mission.  

By following this approach, your design a mission statement to provide guidelines for your organization in making important management decisions.  Besides, you're designing your vision statement to inspire and motivate everyone concerned with the future of your organization. Strategy shows the direction to go in your organization, thrust, and other key factors that will help you determine how your products and services should in the future and which market has the greatest potential. 

Vision and strategy can be included as part of your mission statement, it could be a separate statement. No matter whether the mission statement includes a statement of vision and strategy or not, you still need a mission statement, both for your organization as a whole or for parts of the organization (division, department, unit) which becomes your responsibility as a manager.  

With strategic thinking results in hand, you and your team will have a clear direction that will help you identify critical issues that need to be analyzed straregis to generate long-term planning that will bring a strategic perspective you in to fruition.
